Arts And Carafes Studio
Arts & Carafes Studio's goal is to offer the best painting party experience available. We are part of the ‘Paint & Sip Industry’ which provides Art as Entertainment. So many people have enjoyed this alternative ‘night out’, you will too! If we have not met your expectations we welcome your comments and suggestions.
Below are some questions that you may have:
How do I reserve my seat?
Go to the Calendar of Events tab on the website and click on the date of the event you are interested in. This will take you to the registration page for that event. Paying online, on the secured link, allows you to reserve your seat. To request seating with friends, please send an email to Jaclyn@arts-carafes.com with the names of those in your party so we can ensure your group is seated together.
Do I need a reservation?
We encourage reservations. When the class fills up we are not able to add additional seating. Walk-ins are welcome if room is available. We strongly urge you to reserve your seat by paying online.
Will you reserve tables for a group?
To request seating with friends, please send an email to Jaclyn@arts-carafes.com with the names of those in your party so we can ensure your group is seated together.
When do you post a new monthly schedule?
We will strive to have our monthly schedule up by the 20th of the prior month.
What time should I arrive?
It is important to arrive at least 15 minutes early to get signed in and settled in. Out of respect for our Artists and other guests we will begin on time. If you are not here when the class starts we reserve the right to cancel your seat. Our evening classes generally begin at 6:30 p.m., unless indicated otherwise on the calendar and your receipt.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made no later then 24 hours in advance of the scheduled class. If you are unable to attend and have canceled 24 hours prior to the event we will create an in-Studio credit for you. This can be used at future event within 90 days of the canceled event.
What should I wear to a painting class?
Wear something comfortable enough to paint in and something you do not mind getting a little paint on! We provide aprons for everyone to wear while they paint. Acrylic paint is washable but only if treated immediately.
Are you looking to add more artists to your staff?
We enjoy working with our Artists but we are open to adding new Artists as our schedule allows. We love a variety of creative minds! Please contact us if you are interested in joining our Studio.
Will I really be able to paint this painting in the time allowed? What if I have never painted before?
Yes, the Artist will walk you through the painting in a relaxed time frame. Our paintings are created with a 2 – 3 hour time frame in mind. Acrylic paint dries quickly so your painting will be dry and ready to transport when you leave. If you don’t finish your painting, we have times available during the day that you can come back and complete it.
I have never painted before can I really create a nice painting?
Arts & Carafes Studio chooses Artists who are able to walk all beginners through an acrylic painting. You will see your inner-artist come alive. You do not need any previous experience! Bring an open mind and we will uncork your creativity. Thousands across the country have enjoyed these events.
Can we bring food and beverage?
Yes, feel free to bring in your favorite snacks, appetizers, catering, etc. to our Studio. There will be table space for food and drinks. When we host a class offsite at a venue food and beverage will be offered from their menu.
What about alcohol?
We have a tavern license and can sell beer and wine. State of Michigan Liquor Control Commission prohibits patrons from bringing in their own alcohol beverages - except for wine. An uncorking fee of $10 will be assessed on wine brought to the studio.
